e-lottery's BIG Win!

On Wednesday, 7th May, an e-lottery syndicate shared a big win. The syndicate matched four main numbers plus the bonus ball, winning £88,748. How can that be?

Well, because the syndicate matched four of its common numbers plus the bonus ball, it actually matched FIVE of the UK Lotto's main numbers plus the bonus ball --- TWICE!
You see, the numbers drawn in the UK Lotto were:

9, 10, 12, 16, 30, 31 Bonus ball 3

And the syndicate's five common numbers are:

9, 16, 30, 31 Bonus ball 3

So, because the e-lottery Syndicate System guarantees your syndicate will match EVERY main number drawn on one line or another, that means one line in this lucky syndicate also matched 10; and another line also matched 12, for TWO five-plus-bonus-ball wins! PLUS, every other line in the syndicate had a four-ball win with 9, 16, 30 and 31!

So that's two 5-plus-bonus-ball wins with a cash prize of £43,555 each, plus forty-two 4-ball wins with a cash prize of £39 each. Add them all up and divide by 49 syndicate members and you can see how each individual Member will receive a cheque for £1,811.18 in the post this week!

Bad timing

The only sad thing about this win is that the 5-plus-bonus-ball prize amount in that particular draw was less than it had been in other draws recently.

The previous UK Lotto draw, on Saturday, 3 May, had a 5-plus-bonus-ball prize amount of £82,379 --- almost double; and the week before the win, on Wednesday, 30 April, it had been more than four times as much: £184,410!

And the week before that, on Wednesday, 23 April, the five-plus-bonus-ball prize was a whopping £429,602 - nearly TEN TIMES as much per winner!

Good news, anyway Never mind, the winning syndicate's Members are still pleased as punch to have almost £2,000 extra in their banks! Parvis Parvizi and Paul Veverka were two of the lucky Members who shared in the big win.

Parvis said:"I joined e-lottery back in November 2005, simply because I thought it was the easiest way to play both the UK and the EuroMillions lotteries. Like most people, I rarely check my lottery numbers, so one of the main advantages of e-lottery is that they do that for us and email us once our syndicate has won a prize."I have received many such emails, but today I received a surprising phone call from Eric Avery (Head of Development & Support) to confirm that the syndicate I am in had won a large prize by matching five numbers and the bonus ball. My share of that win is around £1,800, and with my previous smaller wins I am well ahead as far as the cost to me to play in both the UK and EuroMillions lotteries!" ---Parvis Parvizi

Paul Veverka said, "When I get phone calls at work, it's usually bad news… but not today! As e-lottery staff announced to me that my syndicate had won over £88,000, I just couldn’t take it in! My share was a whopping £1,800, which is --- incredibly --- the fourth "four-figure sum" I've won since I joined e-lottery! Absolutely fantastic! Now, my wife and I are already browsing through exotic holiday catalogues for later in the year. Thanks e-lottery, summer vibes have most definitely arrived!" ---Paul Veverka

Well done to those winning members of that syndicate and good luck on Friday to those of us that are in with a 3600% better chance of scooping the Euro Millions Jackpot of £44 Million!
